I think I’ve just fallen in love with Yoshizuki Kumichi‘s style!
Hmm, just read up that he was Fujishima Kosuke‘s assistant! :O Fujishima Kosuke’s known for his art on “Ah! Megami-sama” and a few of the “Tales of” games. :)
Oh wow… just take a look at some of these scans @ AnimePaper! They’re gorgeous! Everything has so much detail, yet is so expressive and calming! The detail and angles with the reflections are amazing! I love the simplicity and wispy effect that each picture gives out. The perspective is especially nice! So much depth! I wish I could make decent wallpapers… I’d be all over some of these scans! XD
Some of my favorites are:
- Girl hugging her violin. (my favorite!)
- Girl with a boy’s reflection in the puddle.
- Girl and boy at the beach.
- Girl with plushies! (after my own heart! XD)
- Girl and boy passing each other.
- Girl and boy under sakura blossoms.
- Girls relaxing at an onsen. (The backdrop is gorgeous!)
- Girl and boy on top of a building looking towards the sun.
- Girl and boy stargazing with tons of stars in the sky!
- Girl with a notebook sitting on some stairs above some houses and a lake.
- Boy with a black and white city backdrop.
- Girl and boy with autumn leaves flying about.
- Girl and boy near a pier.
- Girl in a school uniform walking near sakura trees.
- Group shot!
- Girl in a kimono.
- Girl crossing a river stream over some rocks.
Right about now is when I wish I could vector/draw/paint. :\ I’d so love a wallpaper featuring one of those pictures! He did the artwork for the Someday’s Dreamer manga. The anime didn’t strike me as interesting at the time, but that was several years ago. Hmm. Or was there another reason why I didn’t continue watching it? <.<
